The Emirates stadium layout has been modified so as to copy the layout of the late Highbury stadium. Namely recreating the old North Bank, East Stand, West Stand and Clock End, and putting the old clock in the “new” stadium (all maps and graphics courtesy of Arsenal FC). The club named the four sides of … Continue reading
Arsenal v. Bayern Munich, Emirates stadium, London
Champions League, 1-3… Looks like the decline continue, again despite an improved second half, the return game may be very hard and we may not be in the Champions’ League for long. Sitting in Block 24, Row 23, Seat 743 in the first half. Then standing in Block 10, Row 24 for the end of … Continue reading
Arsenal v. Newcastle United, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League, 7-3… Wow, for my first Premier League game in a while, the team spoilt me! Theo Walcott was immense, and we troubled the visitors a lot in the second half despite 2 howlers in defence that allowed them to equalise twice. Renaud & Lucas (who was 15 year-old that day) were visiting from … Continue reading
Arsenal v. Montpellier, Emirates stadium, London
Champions League, 2-0… Bit slow to start with, but then an improved second half, and we are now thru to the next stage of the Champions’ League. Quiet atmosphere today, sitting in Block 19, Row 13, Seat 588 in the first half. Then sitting (or rather standing) in Block 10, Row 24 for the second … Continue reading
Arsenal v. AC Milan, Emirates stadium, London
Champions League, 3-0… Absolute belter of a game, still we were short of one little goal in the end, and we are now out of the Champions’ League. Fabulous atmosphere though, and I lost my voice, sitting in Block 3, Row 7, Seat 83.
Arsenal v. Manchester Utd, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League, 1-2… A very poor first half, and a promising Premier League debut for 18 year-old Oxlade Chamberlain. A very good seat in Block 110, Row 6, Seat 535. But no room for pictures (only with iPhone) with my back to the exit and their stewarts. I met with some guys from Arsenal France … Continue reading
Arsenal v. Olympique Marseille, Emirates stadium, London
Champions League, 0-0… Entertaining enough game, only my second game of the season, and still no goals from us. Good view of the pitch overall, sitting in Block 14, Row 3, Seat 447.
Arsenal v. Liverpool, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League, 0-2… Great game up to Frimpong sending off, then it all went pershaped. Shame about injury to Kos. Met one of my best men to be: Shine. Good view of the pitch, sitting in Block 3, Row 7, Seat 71. Also note the delightful gesture from Charlie Adam to Samir Nasri.
Arsenal v. Stoke City, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League, 1-0… Tough game against a tough team. Shame about injuries to Cesc and Theo. Great view near the middle of the pitch, sitting in Block 16, Row 13, Seat 504.
Arsenal v. Barcelona, Emirates stadium, London
Champions’ League, 2-1… You beauty! One of the best games of my life! Ever! My voice has gone. Those two goals were something! Well done guys! Great view as I was sitting in Block 15, Row 5, Seat 462. (Listen to the 50 first seconds or so from the Arseblog podcast, episode 189, to get … Continue reading
Arsenal v. Newcastle United, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League, 0-1… Unlucky, but also a bit out of our depth today. Shame cause it was my very first game of the season, And I was expecting something different. Really good seat in Block 15, Row 6, Seat 477.
Barcelona v. Arsenal, Nou Camp stadium, Barcelona
Champions League, 4-1… It was not to be, but at least we had three minutes of complete ecstasy! I was sitting amongst the away fans at the top of the stadium, and the police were a bit heavy handed, but all in all a good away trip.
Arsenal v. Barcelona, Emirates stadium, London
Champions League, 2-2… What a game! Very nervy and stressed until they scored, then… the comeback! I was sitting in Block 2, Row 11, Seat 49, good view throughout the game. Cannot wait for the return game, as I’m travelling to my first ever away game! Thanks again Andy for the ticket!
Arsenal v. Burnley, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League, 3-1… Good entertaining game despite the many misses. And my parents were visiting the Emirates for the first time ever, as they spent the weekend in my company. Seating in Block 4, Row 3, Seat 122.
Arsenal v. Chelsea, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League, 0-3… Catastrophic result. Been rained on during the whole game. And to top it off, I was insulted by a fellow supporter for getting back to my seat late after half time. On a good note, Scott was visiting from up north, and we had a great time… Sitting in block 15, row … Continue reading
Arsenal v. Standard Liege, Emirates stadium, London
Champions League… 2-0. Decent game, despite annoying disturbance from some fans near us. Decent view sitting in Block 19, Row 8, Seat 586.
Arsenal v. Tottenham Hotspurs, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League, 3-0… Great game. And great view in Block 14, row 2, seat 425. Note that my father-in-law was sitting in Block 16, row 22, seat 505, and was bang on in the same line as the centre circle.
Arsenal v. Wigan, Emirates stadium, London
Premier League… 4-0. Great game. Especially in the second half for me as I was right behind the Wigan goal. Sitting in Block 25, Row 10, Seat 777. One piece of advice. All the seats from 750 to 776 in Block 24 & 25 are right behind the goal’s net, so the view is limited… … Continue reading
Arsenal v. Celtic, Emirates Stadium, London

Premier League… 4-1. Very good start of the season, great weather, and a good game. Sitting in Block 122, Row 19, Seat 862. Great view, even though I thought we would be a bit too high.
